2010 (10) Saab 9-3 1.9TTiD 180 bhp turbo diesel, 6 speed manual. £9,300
First registered on the 30th March 2010 with the 10 age identifier, this is a Saab dealer pre-registered and one subsequent private keeper 31,000 mile full service history vehicle finished in Jet Black metallic with the dark Grey Leather faced interior.
Specification includes; the Saab 180 bhp 1.9 litre DTR twin turbo diesel engine, a six speed Manual transmission, Saab ALU 81 TX styling Alloy Wheels, ABS, Climate Control with Air Conditioning, Cruise Control, Driver and front seat passengers front and side Air-bags, Electric Convertible Hood, Electronic Stability Program, electric door mirrors, Heated Front Seats, The Saab Audio System with multi waveband radio, CD player and MP3 / IPod auxiliary input, Saab Information Display, Rear Parking Sensors, Remote Central Locking and Alarm and Saab Rear Park Assist.
The 9-3 Convertible works very well with the superb low emissions 180 bhp TTiD power unit, the TTiD engine is designed to provide instant throttle response throughout the rev range. Two turbochargers, one small, one large, are used. When the driver presses the throttle, the smaller turbo is able to react faster than the bigger unit, so from idle to 1,500rpm, it is used. From there, the second turbocharger is brought into play, while from 3,000rpm on, the larger one works on its own. The engine produces a very useful 400 nm of torque between 1750 and 2750 rpm giving the car a very responsive mid-range acceleration and making for a very relaxed driving technique, the 180 bhp DTR engine is undoubtedly the best of the bunch when it comes to the diesel engined Saabs.
In addition to the normal specification fitted to this car it also has the Saab TX design interior and exterior styling pack this would have added around £600 to the cars cost when new, it consists of theAero front bumper with anthracite insert, anthracite rear bootlid handle, titanium finish grille & fog light surrounds, 17" alloy wheel (ALU81), perforated leather sport steering wheel, carbon fibre effect interior trim, carpet floor mats with grey edge piping.
My opinion is that the Saab 9-3 is still the best value for money full four seat convertible available as a used car, comfort, ease of use, practicality and depending on the model and engine combination you chose, a car that will suit all driving styles, tastes and required levels of performance, this model is particularly nice to drive, smooth and rapid acceleration, totally effortless to use and really very frugal, Saab quoted a figure of 48.7 mpg for the combined cycle, in my experience if you don’t get to heavy with your right foot close to 60 mpg is quite achievable on longer motorway journeys!
Originally pre-registered by Greenhous Saab of Telford on the 30th of March 2010, it was acquired the cars only subsequent private keeper on the 16th of August 2010 the cars first service were also performed by Greenhous in September 2011 at 8,023 miles. The cars next five services were all performed by the Saab authorised service and repair centre Higher Oak Garage of Wrexham with services at 18,148 miles in December 2012, at 23,235 miles in April 2014, at 29,785 miles in April 2015, from then the vehicle had only very low mileages use with its next service performed at 30,525 miles in April 2016, the car was then serviced again in July of this year at 30,657 miles, I understand from talking to the servicing garage that the very small amount of mileage covered in the last couple of years is due to the declining health of its owner. As part of my usual preparation of the vehicle for its next owner a full inspection will be performed by my preferred local Saab service and repair specialists JP Autosolutions of Bristol www.jpautosbristol.co.uk With a copy of their inspection report and copy invoices for any remedial maintenance they may have recommended as a result of that inspection (if any) forming part of the vehicles paperwork at handover, the car will also be MOT tested. In addition to the vehicles stamped service booklet I also have all the cars servicing invoices and previous MOT tests , in all a very good service history.
With a CO2 emissions of 154 g/km this vehicle annual VED charge (road tax) is £190, the six month rate is £104.50.

Every Saab is appraised, test driven, purchased and then sold by myself, consequently I am fully involved in every part of the process.
